18 Holes of Classic, Coastal Golf

a tree in the middle of a road

Inland from the banks of Broad Creek lies Washington Yacht and Country Club and our golf course; with 40 bunkers and 8 lakes and ponds, our Championship Blues measure 6594 yards. For those who aren't as long off the tee, gold, white, green, red and purple tees offer fun rounds for golfers of all handicap levels.

In 1948, the club's founders established a nine hole course nestled in the pines and hardwoods of the coastal maritime forest adjacent to the clubhouse. A second nine was added in 1968, and today's 18 is a par 72 with bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways and roughs.

A full-time pro staff is on hand to give golfers tips, lessons and advice on clubs and equipment. In fact, you can demo many models on the range, a short game practice area and the putting greens behind the club house. a group of people in a room

There is always activity; a fun tournament, couples golfing, and regularly scheduled rounds with the Men's Golf Association, Senior Men's Golf Association, and Ladies Golf Association. Perhaps best of all, our coastal location and climate offers members all-year play.

So, join us for a great round and good fun.
